Technology is evolving with the times. After 2G, 3G, 4G, now 5G technology is coming into the market. 5G technology may arrive in India by the end of June. And Reliance Jio is bringing this technology.
The Jio 5G phone is expected to launch in India later this month. The Jio phone may be the least expensive 5G phone currently available in the market. According to the news, this 5G phone will be sold for 3,500 rupees.
The price of the Jio 5G phone has been discussed for a long time. Reliance announced at the AGM last year that it has partnered with Google to launch affordable 5G phones in India. Jio’s new mobile has not been fully unveiled yet.
It is expected that this mobile will be launched on June 24, 2021, during the AGM of Jio. Although no announcement has been made by the company in this regard. Reliance AGM 2021 will be live-streamed on YouTube from 2 pm on June 24.
According to many reports in the past, this new 5G phone from Jio will be available in India for just Rs 3,500. This phone was basically designed for older 2G phone users. They can easily use a 5G phone instead of a 2G, so the design of this phone will be very simple. This 5G phone from Jio is coming to the market with a 5G plan. However, no information about that plan has been found yet. An official said, “Jio is going to bring this mobile to the market for less than Rs 5,000. We are trying to keep it between Rs 2,500 and Rs 3,500.
Last year, it was reported that Jio had asked local manufacturers to produce 200 million Android phones. These phones will have 4G and 5G networks. As far as the specifications are concerned, Jio’s new 5G phones will run on the customized Android version. It is thought that these mobiles will be made in Android Go or a brand-new Android version. But which processor will be used in these phones? As there are plans to bring these mobiles to the market at a lower price, it is expected that they will use the Qualcomm 4xx series or some unannounced low-cost Mediatek 5G Chipset. However, many have applauded the joint efforts of Jio and Google. But as far as Indian geography is concerned, it could be challenging for the 5G service providers to maintain uniformity in the network.
